My Story
My foundation is biology. My practice is breath. My path has been learning to listen to both.
Long before I understood the science of bone remodeling, I understood the body's language. Two decades on the yoga mat- teaching, practicing, and sitting in stillness- taught me that the breath is not just a stress response. It is a direct line to the nervous system, to cellular health, and to the kind of deep physiological calm that allows healing to happen. Breath isn't something I teach on top of everything else. It runs underneath all of it.
When I moved through my own menopause transition, something clarified. The body I had spent years learning to listen to was asking for something new, not more effort, but deeper understanding. After my own osteopenia diagnosis, I didn't just want to manage bone loss. I wanted to understand why it was happening, get to the root causes, and address them directly. Within two to three years, I had reversed my osteopenia to normal bone density. That experience changed everything about how I work.
Midlife, I discovered, isn't a time to retreat. It's a time to remodel your foundation, and I know firsthand that it's possible.
My Mission
What I Bring to Our Work Together
The science — bone physiology, hormonal shifts, the mechanisms behind bone density loss and how to influence them through lifestyle.
The soma — 20 years of yoga, meditation, and breathwork. The nervous system governs everything and a regulated, breathing body is a body that can heal.
The lived experience — I have navigated this transition myself. I know what it feels like when your body shifts beneath you, and I know what it looks like to move through that with clarity and agency rather than fear.
Together, these are not three separate things. They are one conversation.
This is guidance for real bodies, real lives, and real, lasting change
