My Story
I'm Sofia.
I help menopausal women build and maintain bone strength, not through force, but through the wisdom of listening to what your body actually needs.
I’ve spent decades teaching women to listen to their bodies' whispers before they became shouts.
But my work took a pivotal turn when I navigated my own menopause transition. Like many women, I felt a sudden shift in control. I realized that "listening" wasn't enough; I needed to understand the mechanisms of what was happening to my bones.
I dove into the science. I realized that midlife isn't a time to retreat; it is a time to remodel your foundation.
I didn't just want to "manage" aging. I wanted to understand the why behind bone loss so I could do something about it. This led me to train as a Bone Health Practitioner at the Bone Health Academy with Dr. Kim Millman, who has been instrumental in my own health journey.
Now, I combine the clinical precision of bone health science with the somatic wisdom of yoga and the many wonderful benefits of low pressure fitness to help women move from being passengers in their healthcare to being in the driver's seat.

My philosophy is simple: Education is power.
I deeply respect doctors and the essential role of medicine. But I also know that in the 15 minutes of a standard appointment, the "whole picture" of your life is often missed.
My mission is to close that gap. I help you:
Ask better questions of your medical team.
Understand the "Why" behind your bone density scan.
Build strength safely using mechanics that respect your joints, not punish them.
We are often told that bone loss is inevitable. I believe that while we cannot control everything, there is far more within our hands than we are led to believe.
My work is about learning how your body works now, so you can move with confidence, advocate for your health, and build strength that supports you for decades to come.
