About

I didn’t set out to specialize in bone health, but over time it became impossible to ignore how often women in midlife were being left without clear guidance or meaningful support.

My background is in biological sciences and integrative wellness, and I’ve always been drawn to helping people understand how their bodies work and how small, intentional changes can have a powerful impact over time. Before focusing on bone health, my work centered on movement, posture, breath, and whole-person wellness—supporting women who wanted to feel stronger, steadier, and more at home in their bodies.

What shifted everything for me was seeing how frequently women encountered bone loss as a sudden, unsettling surprise. Many were told they had osteopenia or osteoporosis with little explanation beyond “this happens with age,” or were offered a medication without a clear understanding of what else they could do. Others sensed changes in their strength, posture, or confidence but didn’t know how to respond—or where to turn.

Even with my training, I could see that the system wasn’t offering women a clear, empowering path forward. There often wasn’t a plan, just fragmented advice, rushed appointments, and a focus on fear rather than possibility. Bone health was treated as isolated from movement, posture, nervous system regulation, and daily habits, when in reality, all of these pieces are deeply connected.

I care deeply about this population because these women are anything but passive or fragile. They are capable, resilient, and engaged in their lives, yet they’re often dismissed at the very moment they need thoughtful, individualized support. I’ve seen how transformative it can be when a woman understands her bone health, learns how to move safely and effectively, and feels confident asking questions and advocating for herself.

That’s why I committed to deepening my focus in this area and training as an Integrative Bone Health Practitioner through The Bone Health Academy. Today, through Golden Moon Wellness, I support women in midlife with a calm, research-informed, and integrative approach to bone health. My work blends evidence-based education, mindful movement, posture and breathwork, and personalized coaching—so women can protect their bones, rebuild strength, and move forward with clarity rather than fear.

This work is about more than bone density. It’s about restoring confidence, stability, and trust in one’s body. I’m committed to helping women feel informed, supported, and capable as they step into the next chapter of their health.

With a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of biomechanics and functional movement I guide my students through alignment and mindful movement.

You will not only experience improved strength flexibility and balance but also enhanced body awareness and injury prevention.  In addition to many years of studying and practicing yoga with internationally-renowned yoga teachers, Sue Elkind and Naime Jezzeny, I also hold certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine in personal fitness training, and Low-Pressure Fitness Certified Teacher.
